The Lara Happenings is a local publication produced by the Lara Community Centre on a fortnightly basis. It contains local news and information, and advertisements from businesses and community groups in the area which support the costs of publication.
The Lara Happenings is printed as a full colour, newsprint booklet and is distributed to residents of Lara, free of charge.

Thank you for your support in past years - without the contributions of the local organisations, clubs and businesses there would be no Lara Happenings for the community to read and enjoy.
Advance submissions will be accepted at anytime for forward issues. Submissions can be emailed to email@example.com
What sort of files can I send for the Happenings?
We used Adobe InDesign to construct the Lara Happenings. We can use most Adobe files (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) as well as Word, Powerpoint, Publisher.
High quality image files such as .jpg and .tiff files can be sent as well. All colours should be CMYK as RGB colors may cause issues with the quality of the finished product.
Due to demand and to enable a 'fair go' for all businesses in Lara, front page submissions will be limited to one per customer per year.
