Geelong News

The Geelong News is a free newspaper published weekly by the Geelong Advertiser and distributed through the City of Greater Geelong. There is a monthly lift-out section Lara and District News published on the first Wednesday of every month, providing news, community information and advertising specific to the Lara area. News items may be reported to the Geelong News on (03) 5227 4412 or email newsroom@geelongnews.com.au. Any community events to be listed in the supplement may be submitted via Country Lane by the middle Thursday of the month.

Lara Happenings

The Lara Happenings is a local publication produced by the Lara Community Centre on a fortnightly basis. It contains local news and information, and advertisements from businesses and community groups in the area which support the costs of publication. The Lara Happenings is printed as a booklet and distributed to residents of Lara.
