Lara Happenings

Lara Happenings cover, November 1984The Lara Happenings is a local publication produced by the Lara Community Centre on a fortnightly basis. It contains local news and information, and advertisements from businesses and community groups in the area which support the costs of publication. The Lara Happenings is printed as a booklet and distributed to residents of Lara.

Article and Advertising Submission

Thank you for your support in past years - without the contributions of the local organisations, clubs and businesses there would be no Lara Happenings for the community to read and enjoy.

Deadline dates have been moved back a day to Tuesday to give contributors more time to submit entries, however, advance submissions will be taken at anytime for forward issues. The Class Books have not had advertising in the past, and while we will need to limit the number of ads in these issues, if you would like to consider placing an ad in these issues, please contact the Centre. Some community submissions may appear in these issues.

Due to demand and to enable a 'fair go' for all businesses in Lara, front page submissions will be limited to one per customer per year.

We are pleased to accept submissions via email or on computer disk or CD. We prefer files in Word, Publisher and can accept Paint. Please do not send .pdf files as we are unable to work in this format.
